I see a lot of wort chiller now that are stainless steel. What is the better of the two? Copper or stainless steel?

The only SS wort chiller I've seen recently is a SS CFC for $1200. Other than being pretty and less destructible, there's not much reason for it. Copper will always be a better heat conductor.
On Tap - Oak Aged Bourbon Porter, Barleywine, and Irish Red Rye

Primary - Mead
Secondary - Chipotle Smoked Porter

The problem with the world is that everyone is a few drinks behind.

copper coils in your kettle works for me, easy to use, does the job, and is reasonably cheap, also easy to clean.

Stainless steel wouldn't work well as a wort chiller. Copper will have a much better heat transfer. I built a custom counter-flow wort chiller using 3/8" soft copper tubing stuffed inside a 5/8" rubber hose. I was able to cool the 220F wort down to 65F in less then 10 minutes!

Here is a picture of my setup:

And here is a closeup picture of my custom wort chiller:

It looks like you have an extra [img] in there at the end so your link didn't work. Also, you can check out my pictures now, I fixed the scrambling problem.
