Re: Wine Making Software
randy, thanks for the link you posted, it looks like what i was looking for. i make my wine with whatever happens to be in season and it's normally 6 to 12 gal. batches, that way i have enough to make up when i do my racking. i have both 5 and 6 gal. carboys and use 1 gal. jugs to catch what's left over, my primary is a 8 gal. crock and a 20 gal. food grade plastic barrel. i have 6 gal. of elderberry wine going in my cool room and it's about time to rack it again, so i can have my primary ready for the grape season, which is just about ready to pick now. in the off seasons i use a couple of cans of concentrate from vintner's harvest to make 6 gal. batches, so i usually have something going most the time. love that wine.

Re: Wine Making Software
I to started looking for better book keeping software after using the Beer Smith program. Something like that would be nice for wine. I ran across this " Lazy Hill Winelog" at http://www.chadandtrish.com/winelog/ checked out demo it looks intresting. Anyone tried it?

Re: Wine Making Software
I just use a spiral ring note books that I date and number. Once in a while I do refer back to things I did a while back. I haven't looked at the software but my computer isn't in my wine room and my memory ain't that good so I would have to take notes anyway and rewrite them to the computer program.
