Is this 40 gallon system a good deal on ebay?

Re: Is this 40 gallon system a good deal on ebay?
That looks similar to the system a few micro breweries use around where I live, except most of them use stainless steel fermenters. I was a bit confused by the item description though, it said there was no reserve on the auction, when clearly there is a reserve on the auction as the bidding says "reserve not met."
I assume you're not brewing just for yourself? because all this probably won't fit in a shed

Well, it's certainly wouldn't help me on a homebrew scale...
I don't think I'd personally spend 10 grand on that system. It's a homemade system, and for that price I think you could buy better. Shoot, for that price, I'm pretty certain you could make your own (and better) system.
I don't care for the U.S. Plastic fermenters. Plastic is a big enough pain to work with on a homebrew scale. I certainly wouldn't dare risk losing 40 gallons of beer to a plastic fermenter that I bought off of ebay.
I'd be terrified of using the wort chillers! They look like they've seen better days. And what seller in his right mind posts a picture of them mounted to that old (and moldy??) bit of plywood? He didn't even bother to TRY to polish them up and make them look decent. Well, at least there's a bottle of bleach nearby...
The malt mill is just a malt mill. Nothing special there.
Hell, the system isn't even complete, as it requires that you purchase a tankless hot water heater that will cost nearly 2 thousand dollars more.
And, the number one reason that I would not buy anything from this seller:
Cheers,
Dave

I agree with Dave. A little too hokey for a commercial operation. The Brew setup looks ok and would work. But i agree with the used plastic fermenters and the nasty looking chillers.

Yeah, I took another look at it, and there doesn't seem to be any sort of thermal controller available with this system? Well, nothing except for the thermometer on the pot. And he's expecting 10 grand for it? Nah. I definitely wouldn't go pro with this system!

Dave
