Sanitizing Draft Lines
I finally hooked up a sweet keezer that I picked up on Craig's list. The guy I bought it from kept sanitizer in the the draft lines once he decided to sell it. I'm not sure how long it sat in there, but I'm thinking at least 2-3 months.
Should I go ahead and put new lines in there? Can sanitizer saturate the lines?
I put an IPA on one of the taps and I'm not sure if it is hop astringency/bitterness or a slight sanitizer taste. Plus, I'm just plain not impressed with how it turned out in general. I ran some beer through the line to flush out the sanitizer, then I let beer set in it for about 15 minutes and flushed a little more. Looking for some advice. Thanks.

Re: Sanitizing Draft Lines
If it was me, I'd just replace the lines. The tubing is inexpensive and well worth the cost for peace of mind. IMO.

Re: Sanitizing Draft Lines
I agree with curlyfat.
I replace my lines every year just
due to low cost and less hassle.
