Pellet vs. Whole hops
Is there a difference in mass needed between pellet and whole hops? Is two ounces of magnum pellet the same as two ounces of magnum dry hops? If so what formula should I use?
Thanks

Re: Pellet vs. Whole hops
Assuming the quanties used are the same, the amount of bittering compounds that can be extracted from hop pellets is generally considered to be about 10% greater than that of whole hops.
