Party Pig

Postby miguelito » Tue Jul 07, 2009 9:19 pm

Has anyone ever used a Party Pig? Pros? Cons? I am not clear as to if you can age your beer in this vessel or is it just a means to store and dispense beer that has already been aged and carbonated. It looks like a neat product. http://www.partypig.com

My buddy, an avid homebrewer used to have several batches going at once. We all lived in the same general area so when he's come over to hang out or when we'd all get together, he would just put a few of those party pigs in a wheelbarrow and cart his newest brews over to wherever we were gathering. That said, I think they were Party Pigs although I'm not sure if there are other folks that make similar products. Anyway, the concept is great and prevents bottling which is such a hastle sometimes.
