kegged IPA

Postby beernut » Tue Dec 30, 2008 5:38 am

I just started kegging my beer and my first batch was an IPA. I'm getting towards the end of the keg and the beer looks like chocolate milk. The entire keg was great and the beer was crystal clear. I'm not sure what the deal is. The keg is about empty so I'm thinking its yeast but it still dosn't make sense to me. Anyone out there have any ideas?

How empty is empty? You will have a good amount of stuff at the bottem from it clearing. I will get a couple pints sometimes depending on the brew.
Sorry i havent called you yet. Its been hectic down here & i gotta get changed & get to my buddies birthday party. Just got 2 minutes of free time!!

I got it figured out. My other kegs went empty a short time later and did the same thing. A couple glasses of sludge is all. I loaded another keg and I'm back in business. Hope you all have a good new year.
