My kegerator starts to take shape (finally)

Postby curlyfat » Mon Feb 15, 2010 11:08 pm

I've been using picnic taps except for one tap handle I had. I finally upgraded everything and it's a thing of beauty!

No room for the shelves, unfortunately. There are, however, drawers underneath the kegs where "excess" bottled beer can be stored. The freezer is where all my hops are kept..

Looks nice Curly, it's pretty similar to mine except I only have three taps (I could not fit a fourth keg into my refrigerator). I might suggest you had some stickers to the outside to really make it complete. I would post a pic of mine on here but every time I try to post the pic it says that pic is too big?

My plan is to put a piece of chalkboard over the taps so I can keep track of what's on each tap. I have also ordered two drip trays. I have not, however, figured out where to drain them to...

I always have to reduce my pics to 25% their original size, and they're still a little on the big side.

Looks fantastic Curlyfat! Between your new brew sculpture and this kegerator, I'd say you're getting ready to do some serious brewing!

I download my images to tinypic.com and use their IMG code for posting pics to forums. Works great!

I'm kicking it into high gear, for sure! 15 gallons fermenting and at least 5 more to start this next week!

It is funny that I can't lager this time of year because my garage is too cold  !

That's funny!

We are having a bit of a heat wave here.

I mean, the temperatures are above freezing! There's actually ice in its un-natural state!!

Strange weather....

Too funny! Down here, the temperature is in the high 50's to mid 60's. Good ale weather.
