How do you force carbonate?
I've searched through this forum to find an answer to the question...
How do you force carbonate? Is that just using direct CO2 instead of yeast?
I am using the Coca-Cola version of the Corny keg.
Any help on this, please?

No. You're using CO2 instead of priming sugar. Yeast is still needed to create beer from wort. Once primary and secondary (if used) is complete, rack to a keg and force carb.

I use Pepsi (ball lock). They work the same. Here's a table for you to use:
http://www.bossbeer.org/tips/carbonation_imp.htm
Tip 1: Put about 10# of pressure in the keg after racking and wait a few minutes. CO2 is heavier than air so when you purge your keg, pressure release valve and both poppets, you'll eliminate the O2 out of the keg.
Tip 2: Attach your CO2 and fill to your desired pressure. Chill the keg with the CO2 on it for 5-7 days per chart and there you go.
Tip 3: If you want your beer sooner, do Tip 1, set CO2 pressure to serving temp and drop temp on keg to 30°F. When temp is reached, shake keg until no more gas is passing through the regulator. Chill for a couple of hours and repeat shake. Beer is ready in 6 hours.
Tip 4: Patience will always make the beer taste better.
Good luck,
Wild

If your job is making and tasting beer, you're a Brew Miester.
If you have no job, and you drink beer, you've a drinking problem.
