Re: Home Brewer TV #29 Yeast and Kegging
Hi there
I just watched your show #29 and love the great tips you offer up.
I'm just getting into homebrewing, so can certainly use all the help I can get!
I just had a quick question for you. You were mentioning different types of yeast in your show and the different flavors that they offer. You were talking specifically about White Labs yeast.
You mentioned the yeasts for clean ales(001) and british ales(002,004), but I was wondering which of their yeasts you would suggest for a malty beer?
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

A old man sits with his wife and says "I love you".
His wife asks, "Is that the beer talking, or you?"
He replies "It's me talking to the beer."

I would suggest White Labs WLP028. I also enjoy malty beers and use this yeast often.
