HELP!!!
OK, I'm new to wine making... i have made 2 batches of wine now... a wild-berry Shiraz... that one came out GREAT!!! and a Green Apple Riesling... that one has me worried... at every stage of the fermenting the numbers were exactly where the kit said they should be... it smells great... it looks great.. cleared great... only problem is... it tastes like very mild apple flavored water with a hint of fermenting... I'm confused... i did everything right... my numbers were right... and it smells so good... what's up with the taste??? i drank a few glasses of it despite the "watered down" taste, and i can barely feel it... usually 2-3 glasses and I'm tipsy...
did i do something wrong??? or was this just a fluke???

Re: HELP!!!
Sometimes apple wines have a very mild flavor. Have you checked the alcohol? You can buy a devise to measure alcohol for about $5
