Grain & hop prices going way up.
I got an email from my wholesaler yesterday stating most grain was going up about 10 cents per pound. & hop prices & shortages are crazy!
Add skyrocketing fuel prices & beer is going to cost alot more.
Good thing it only costs me between 17 & 35 cents(depending on recipe)
per beer to brew!! It will still be great to make awsome beer for less than 50 cents each.
You can bet that all beer in stores will be going up too!
Last time i checked(a couple months ago when i ran out of homebrew), a 12 pack of seira nevada pale ale was almost $15.
Figured i would share the info. that i got about the actual price increase!
Go find the cheapest grain now, before all brew shops raise price.

i heard about this problem on another foreum, so i just got 200 lbs of grain and 15 lbs of different hops. hope that will last me until things start to level out. i agree that it is nice to be able to make your own beer for a fraction of the price you pay at the store, and in my opinion a lot better tasting than most.

a great day starts with a good brew
