Anyone know of a good site or location to but labels for bottles? I am looking to print my own and when I ask "location" I mena like Staples or somewhere, no local brew shops near me....thanks

I had to ask my wife about this one since she is the wine drinker in the family. I purchase wine based upon the alcohol content and the cost per unit volume. Hmmm...I guess that's why she doesn't let me pick out the wine for her.

Technically the date is the season the grapes were harvested in (e.g. the summer of 2005 for a merlot).

Of course, seeing as how its your label, you can put whatever date you prefer. If it were me doing it, I would use the date that fermentation ended. I used to bulk age my wines in a carboy for several months before bottling, so the actual bottling date didnt reflect the "born on" date.
