force carbonating
I force carbonated my first keg this week and kind of over did it. I chilled to about 45 deg and put 30psi for 2 days. I released the presure and reset to 10psi. Im getting about 1/2 to 2/3s of a pint foam. Will this settle down after a while or will I just have to live with it?

1.shut off the co2.
2. pull the keg out of fridge(room temp!
3. blead off co2
4. repeat step 3 every few hours for a day or 2.
5. put back in fridge
6. after it has been in there long enough to be cold again(maybe 12 hours), put co2 on with just a couple pounds.
7. test beer(if its flat then put co2 at 12 psi & leave it for a day or 2
8. if it is still overcarbed go back to step 1.
Or, just plan yur drinkin & have a cup of foam settling while you are drinking the last cup of foam.
I had a keg of foam from doing the same thing, my neighbor gave me so much crap about coming over to "have some foam". I havent done that since.
Good luck, let us know what u did & how it worked!
