Boiled Peanuts?

Boiled Peanuts?

Postby inthefreeworld » Thu Apr 26, 2007 1:40 am

So I'm sort of new in good old Georgia and I keep seeing signs for boiled peanuts. I can't imagine that they're that good, I mean, I'm pretty much a fan of straight up dry roasted.

Is it worth the stop on the side of the road? I never had them up north.

I pulled a year down in FLA back in '90. While bartending, I had to set up a crockpot full of peanuts and a ham hock daily. My customers loved the stuff. Live a little, give it a try.
