My name is John Holtz and I currently live in Arizona. Originally I am from Colorado and can not wait to move back there in a couple of years. I am married to a very loving wife and we have 4 great kids. I have been brewing my own beer since November of 2005. I had a very simple reason for wanting to brew my own and that was because I couldn’t find any beer here un the US that tasted just like what I use to drink in Germany when I was in the US Army. Since I started brewing I have tried a number of differant styles and recipes. Some were great and some were, well shall we say less than great. Hopefully with this blog I will be able to discuss differant ideas, technics, recipes and just meet some new friends. PROST!
