I use one step to clean my bottles. I don't smoke, bad for your health.

The reason I use one step, no rinse for my bottles is just that I don't have to rinse. Just drain. I am on a well for my water. Although the water is good I want to be careful. On a well I would be concerned that when I rinsed I might induce bacteria.

i only use 1 capfull of iodophor for 5 gal. water, just enough to turn the water to a light amber color, in my bottling bucket. give it about 3 minutes soak, then dump into my sanitize bucket with the bottles for a few minutes, then drain them on a bottle tree. the corks or caps sit in a bowl of the sanitizer until i am ready to use them. the buckets and bottles just drain and i don't rinse them with anything.
